Sea Doo Super Chargers
Do the new Sea Doo's still need to have here Super Charger rebuilt every 100 hours?
Looking at the Rxt X 260

They recommend a rebuild every 200hrs now but I personally wouldn't risk it.

I recommend 50 hrs but pending if flat water riding or surf .
Seen to many pop , just had one pop only 3 hours old and big charger etc

bammbamm the rebuild is cheap maintenance and insurance
if a SC brakes it can and most likely will do major damage to the motor
the SC spins about 48,000 rpms on tiny roller bearings that are inside the motor
brp raised the rebuild recommendations from 100 to 200 hours but did not upgrade the SC
they are betting most skis will be out of warranty before the SC dies

It also depends how you ride it. If you ride it real hard and you come unhooked regularly, have mods, etc., then 100 hours is highly advised. Check your slip every season. If it's good and you don't ride that hard, then you should be OK with the 200 hours mark. BRP would not have recommended it without some good basis.
