12 300x prop removal help
I got a 12 300x I'm changing the stock prop with a new Solas 14/21 The problem is I can't get the stock prop off! Any secrets ?? Are they left hand threads or right hand threads???

Ok for starters..
First we assume you removed the pump already from the ski and you have the nub or tail end of the pump in a vise and the prop removal tool inserted into the splines of the prop. These are standard right hand threads so there are a few ways to get a stubborn prop off..
1) heat the prop with a propane torch or a heat gun just around the middle of the prop between the blades where the threads would be under ,do for 2-3 mins all around the middle then 2) need for leverage a 2ft breaker bar made out of cast iron and hollow enough to fit your socket wrench right in so you can get all your weight behind it and turn ..
But the problems removing a prop can be avoided from start with a good sturdy vise that doesn't flex and planted on a good sturdy table and if that cannot be done there's a prop removal base made for Kawa that goes in the Jaws of a mediocre vise that will keep it the pump still ..
Some experience and knowledgable members here (Sir,Nj) have some other ways too like a base of a trailer hitch etc...
They will chime in soon maybe..

Standard thread (right hand).
The kawi's also have a habit of galling the thread. (seen many) Sometimes the only option is to use a long breaker bar and snap the shaft. Obviously this is after exploring other options.
