    help understand mods!

I've rode jet skis for a while now and have landed 2 awesome skis. 2000 pro 1200 and a 2000 slx 1200. I want to do some Mods to them. What I would like help with is understanding the mods. my pro has carbon fiber v force reeds and a tdr water box on it. My slx is stock but I was wondering what all mods I could do to the pro that I could use the parts on my slx. Would it help the slx to put the stock pro exhaust on it? And what about the stock reeds? I also think I will upgrade The slx with the same r&d intake grate, there's a new one on eBay for 80$ And that's cheaper than upgrading the pro grate. I ride for the lower to mid range power and carving on the pro and I ride to jump on the slx So losing a couple mph on the high side is a worthy sacrifice.

could anyone list some example of mod lists and explain what they do. I've read about carbs Pistons heads triples ride plates AAT and I'm overwhelmed and confused what direction to go. Any help is good help

It's a pretty small lake but we occasionally take trips to lake mich. Erie. Sinclair. So more choppy lake water

i'd stay away from a 5 or 6 pump wedge.neither ski really likes the rougher water for speed.the pro needs a set of sponsons, theres a set of hot seat ones on ebay.a set of carbon tech light tension petals for the slx will wake it up,drop a set of 92 oct domes on the pro.a txi prop and adjust a thrust will work good on the pro as well.if you get a jetworks valve for either i'd change to the 01 water manifold and the 01 jetting, and open the stinger to .090 like the 01's

or a 17/23 factory polaris skat.get the adjust a thrust to go with it.have you notice the offset smaller tank in the pro?ski would do better with the tank centered.that pro tank WILL come out the hood opening, the slx won't
