    2014 fzs speed dropping off

I was one with the timing chain problem and had the engine rebuilt. Well after I got it out the shop, it started to drop speed like it was in learner mode but only when I would hit a little wave, but if I let the throttle go and pull again it would pick right back up. It started off only happening about once every 3 to 4 time I would ride it. Well I took it out yesterday and it did it to me like 15 times in about 2 hrs. Anyone ever had this problem before or any suggestions as to what to start checking?

Had nothing but problems with the dealer and swore id never deal with them again. Took 6 months to rebuild my ski when the motor blew. Got the run around and lied to every time I turned around. The ski broke in April and didn't get it back until the week before Halloween. So I was hoping someone had this problem and would know an easy fix.

Check for a boost leak or the clutch what exactly was done to motor? I assume some valves were bent and some marks were on pistons

Whole motor was pulled out, and rebuilt. They didn't give me details. All I was told was that it was fixed. No paper work or anything. I did check for a boost leak and didn't find nothing. When it drops off it goes from 7400 RPMs to 5000 RPMs. But as soon as I let off and pull again the RPMs jump right back to 7400. Its almost like a plug or something would be loose. Its only when I hit a little wave or when I turn hard. Also ski was never ridden in rough waters only a lake and bayous.

Check the reverse limiter switch. Might be dropping out.

yes seems a limiter like reverse or steering...
    check all electrical connectors...
and of course clamps on supercharger intercooler manifold hoses...
    also... coil and sparks connection...

the clutch friend almost broke. and is also the reason why they break the chains. new clutches 2014 2015 are very hard not break the sprag not break your teeth but when you turn the sprag breaks down the distribution chain. you have replaced everything but the clutch that is the cause of the failure of the chain, and also the Woodruff Key flywheel
