    Stainless wear ring clearance

So I bought the stainless wear ring (plastic one with the SS insert) and the stock prob fits fairly well with around .003-.004 clearance. Hand spinning is smooth with no contact. The solas prop on the other hand binds up so bad it's not even funny. You can see the marks from hand spinning it. What kind of clearance are you guys running with a SS ring?

I filed mine to where it would make a hairs contact with the ring. You need to file the edge sometimes

I have only experience with the Solas ones, about 90% of the time I don't see any issues, every once in a while I get one like that. I use a file to remove any burr or high spot
