Pretty sure the hulls are the same. Use a 6 vane stainless with a regular 4 degree wedge and it will be fine.

thanks I have a couple of pumps made up one with 4* and one with a 6* both have new plastic tubes what I was trying to decide was if I should use a SL hull or a SLX I have aftermarket sponsons and a 785 and ride plates and intake grates so if theres no differences in hulls I will use one of my SL hulls and pass on this SLX ?

Its more the sponsons than it is the ride plate. I tried my SL 900 without the sponsons once and it was the biggest porpoise sack I have ever ridden. Put them back on and it was good. The SL 900 and SLX were the same hull.

If the SL hull doesn't already have sponsons or inserts for them, you may want the SLX hull so you don't have to deal with adding the sponson inserts..... Kind of a PITA but doable...
