    Pump differences R vs. F

By the online fiche it looks as though they share the same stator section but the transom plate, exit nozzle, intake grate and intake lip are different between the 2.

My question is: are any parts interechangeable and is there any performance benefit in say using a "F" intake lip in a "R" ski?

you have to look at the year. all the prop threads are the same, but pitch is not, the later non turbos have a smaller pump.

what are you trying to do BTW?

The F nozzle has no trim so you'd loose that but it is wedge built in.

i did a Kit which converts the F over to a R with trim (bout $600)

I use it for launch control with a ALS system for lag. works good

a F12x will fit a R12x but not sure why you would do that... its already got trim built in.

if you want SPEED put a R r/plate on a R12x..... that said.. there are other options, depends on your setup

    Shwan,

How much speed does an R plate add to the RX. Assuming neither are cut. Then with the cut I know the additional speed gains.
