780 Gasket kit question
I'm getting ready to start building a 780 engine to drop in my SLT 750 hull...and no, I didn't steal that idea from a beloved forum member it just so happens that the shop I bought a complete motor from had a 780 engine and not a 750...that can't be a bad thing, can it ?
Anyway, I have compiled my parts list consisting of some TB 1211 and an oil pump blockoff plate. My question concerns the complete gasket kit w/ crank seals. All I can find are the Jetlyne kits. Are those good to go? I also plan on rebuilding the carbs using the wonderful tutorial on here...for those, I shall use Mikuni kits.

Check with John Zigler at Watcon. I asked him the same thing and he has an aftermarket brand that he told me he had good success with. I can't remember what it was though.
