Reese 833lb. "Retractable Tie Downs" - $17 each

I called Reese's tech department (Cequent Consumer Products) and these are actually made by Fulton and I have always hailed Fulton's product line. I just bought (4) based on the reviews. BoatBuckles brand are much higher.

Damn...Very nice. I just got some new ratchet tie downs with a hook on each end...Should've bought these instead.

Once you go to this style, you will wonder how you ever did it before. It takes about 15 seconds to tie down the rear of the skis with this setup.

I agree this type of tie down is amazing how easy it is to strap and unstrap your skis. Not going back to the old style.

Anyone have any pictures of these installed ? There is practically no installation instructions... Just want to make sure where I think they're going, is actually the right spot..

Mount as close as possible to straight below tie points. See thread in my sig for how I did mine.
