    Go Pro Lanyard

I just ordered one of these for my Go Pro. Has a nice attachment point for a lanyard. Looks like a nice piece.

ive looked at those as well. there is an orange one id like to get. good attachment spot for a tether as well if you used some thin filament.

I think a 3 foot fishing leader with a snap swivel would be perfect.

I ordered some of the aluminum thumb screws too. Should bling out the Go Pro. They make a replacement for the plastic latch too. Might get that piece as well.

that would work. the only down side on those for me is when its stored i keep the lens cap on it and with the attachment point i cant use it. i guess i would trim part of it away.

I doubt the lens cap would work at all with that new ring.

Only bad thing about the attachment point is it puts a lot of stress on the lens seal when ever it is used.
Make sure you check the seal if you ever lose the mounting and the tether comes into play.
Also the newer style GP housings are different so that ring will not work with them.

They make rings for both style housings. One with the external screws and one that appears to clamp on with a set screw.
