    Possible Engine Problem

So I was changing the oil in my friends 2008 SHO and when I started it up I thought I was working on a Seadoo. It clearly was only running on 3 cylinders. So I pulled the plugs and the #4 plug was fouled. It really looks oil fouled to me. I also notice by the amount of oil pumped out that it was probably low. Do these motors have a oil burning problem? Whatcha all think?

That is black that looks like fuel. Do a compression test if good try changing plug might have a bad plug, or coil or injector.

Yes we changed plugs right away and it ran fine. I will get with him to check the compression.

    Probably a stuffed injector.

What's a stuffed injector? It ran fine and smooth after plugs got replaced.

Make sure your friend checks the plug after the first few rides to make sure it isn't fouling again.

Check the coil pack connection. Remove the plug and have a good look with a torch on the coil its self. Then pull the plug apart and inspect. I had to replace one of my female pins in the plug. It began to corrode.
