    2015 vx cruiser- top speed?

Can someone give me an idea of real world GPS tracked top speed on a VX Cruiser?

    I've seen 52, 55 one video even said 42mph.??

I realize conditions and load will play an impact.

    Anyone with first hand experience?

I'm 6'3", 245lbs. Water around here is light to medium chop, but usually pretty calm.

    Thanks

Also, is cruise control really that useful of a feature?

Initially I like the idea, but I'm starting to wonder how much it would actually get used.

I personally do not think I would ever use cruise control. I like the no wake mode idea though.

Its a low 50's ski that will last forever if taken care of.....for a little more money the VXs/r, you can be in the mid to upper 60's that will last for ever if taken care of....

On my 2012 VX deluxe, I had 53 with a little under half fuel, me at 185lbs, and smooth water via GPS. Boattest reviews advise the 2015s are 1mph faster with the lighter nanocell hull than the fiberglass. Weight plays a big part on this smaller 1100 motor. Full tank of fuel on mine will only get me 52. These speeds were the same day, same smooth water just about 9-10 gallons less fuel.

As long as it does 50+, I believe i'd be happy. No real desire to do 60+

I can get a 2015 vx cruiser for $9840 (no added fees)
I'll call tomorrow and see how much a VXR would be.

Its not even the top end so much thats fun its when you pull the trigger and it almost rips your arms off. Thats where all of the fun is.

The VXR should be 2k more. My VX Deluxe is fun to ride and not a gas hog. I pull a tube with me and an observer riding backwards and it doesn't strain a bit. My wife and I otherwise just take turns riding it. Neither one of us like being the passenger and it handles so much better by yourself. After you get use to it, you'll want more. More speed, acceleration, and the arm pull as Matrix mentioned. That's why I picked up a left over VXR last month. My wife and I can now ride together but will probably be having fights over who gets the VXR.

Can't talk about the VX speeds but I have an '09 FX SHO and use the cruise control on it regularly. Great feature for reducing hand fatigue and great help on longer trips to keep it right on the economical spot. No wake is also great.
