    help with custom water boxes for 785

    I was thinking of running 3 individual aluminum pipes no collector 3 water boxes and 3 pipes through the hull Click image for larger version.

    There has been stuff done. I know chopper had a similar set up with a set of Moto Marine pipes

    There's a pic on here of someone that actually had the exhaust outlet near the front of the boat

    If you don't want to mess around with custom stuff, I do have a collector and waterbox for you.

    Choppers boat used 3 kawi 440/550 standup exhaust resonators I have two msx's with little resonators in them i'll get you a pic today

    Would the 3 separate water boxes give more off the line ?

    Not to sure but on snowmobiles theres power increases when exhuast pulses don't intermingle plus I'm trying to do something different and sound is a big part and sound gets muffled in one water box .

    That's an expensive waterbox.

    You're going to be heading into uncharted waters with that set up. Meaning no one knows how it's going to play with the rest of the exhaust system. Might make for a tuning nightmare, or it might not have any impact whatsoever. Just throwing that out there.

    Xlint89 I here you this could be a total waste of time I know , I'm trying to get away from the collector and rubber hoses if it starts to cause problems I will forget this and go back to a stock set up

    it should be no problem a lot of guys use to run 3 pipes individually out the back just not common on here
