    Yellow Locktite?

Yellow locktite, I`ve seen this on the set screws for the throttle and electric switches on the handle bars and the sterring nozzle/reverse bucket mounting bolts. What strength is it , where to get it , and how important is it use in those places?
Another words where would you use yellow locktite?...PR...

factory uses the yellow threadlocker on the pump bolts and studs as well...

i stick with Permatex BLUE threadlocker for everything on my ski personally.

Shibbs, I`m thinking the yellow is more thicker and probably has sealing qualities!?...PR...

PR this is a possibility but i agree with Shibby i use Blue on all my parts. You may be on to something thinking that the yellow has sealing properties. But i think it may just be a seadoo thing considering i've seen the yellow stuff on everything from the pump studs to the ECU bolts.

Have y'all used the blue loctite that comes in a solid stick? That stuff is awesome because you don't get the liquid stuff all over the place.

Like i said before i think the yellow loctite thing is probably a seadoo thing. I'll stick with the blue and not look back.

    Franko:

    Where do you find that?

I will get some when my big bottle of blue liquid runs out. Seems like you waste most of the liquid stuff.

I think I got it at O'Reillys. Might have been Autozone.
