Anybody in San Antonio up for riding in the rain Sunday 4/12/15?

It's supposed to be raining tomorrow but I've got the time so I think I'm gonna go out an ride. The way I see it I'm gonna get wet anyway so what does a little rain matter. It was supposed to rain all day today as well and it didn't so what the hell, you just never know. I want to ride a few hours. I usually always have my kids with me and can't really enjoy riding the way I like to. This weekend I don't have them so I want to take advantage. I'm thinking Lake Dunlop or Canyon, haven't decided. Might even consider something in Austin.

You ever ride in the rain before? That can be painful.

This is South Texas, our weather is nothing like Milwaukee WI. Our weather has a reputation for changing all the time. It might be raining one minute and sunny a beautiful the next. Plus its freaking damn near 80 degrees here. no reason not to ride.

Yes plus it's a 40% chance of rain so it might just be clouds and 80* with wide open lake!

I didnt say not to ride. Im just saying that rain at 40, 50 or 60 MPH hurts like hell on bare skin. I ride in stuff you wouldn't believe. Lake Michigan can turn nasty in a heartbeat.
