4tec prop size relative to weight

newbie asking what prop pitch changes relative to weight. I get that more hp means you can pull taller prop. What does weight affect top speed. Can anyone say their SD looses top speed with passenger? I see top speeds improved with low fuel, but could that be lifting nose of boat out of planning surface? Just wondering where to start prop pitch on a 4 tec 50% lighter than stock?

Problem you will have is u are going to be all over the stock limiter . A stock 215 will feel like a 300hp with that light Ass xpl...

its bit of an unknown combo , u can only start tall and rep itch to suit ... I would start a 15/22 solas a rep itch from there
