    Lucky 13 cone WOW

I have a 2014 RXT-X 260. The air temp was 60 degrees and the water temp was about 40 degrees.I am running v tech 8375 aggressive tune with kanaflex intake, Riva catch can and a Fizzle intercooler. Prior to putting the Lucky 13 cone on I was running 73mph with blips of 74 mph on the dash. After installing the cone only with no spacers I was pulling a solid 77mph with blips of 78 mph. I can't comment on rpms because both times I was hitting the limiter and the ski would pull back at 8500 rpms. I really didn't notice an increase in holeshot. I am anxious to get some spring and retainers now along with data logging so I can bump the limiter up. I will be riding conservative for now so I don't go breaking stuff.

With stock impeller? On my 2010 rxt-x I am getting 77mph at 8400rpm (vtech 8350 agr) with 15/20R solas (87mm stock nozzle), R&D intake, 4" kanaflex.
Jerry advised me to use the Lucky 13 to drop rpm and getting more speed.

Yes stock impeller. Everything is stock other than what's listed. You will probably have to add spacers to drop rpm. I know I could of got my rpms out of it if I raised the limiter. I am getting ready to pick up a solas impeller. Was there any difference in hole shot with the solas? If your pulling 8400 rpms with the 15/20 I will have to go with the 15/21 to drop my rpms slightly to get off the limiter and hopefully gaIn some hole shot.

i just tested a solas to a stock prop in my ski which runs about 82 and the solas will pick up a tad over the stock prop.

well it was good for almost 1 mph and it seems to bite harder and have a tad more midrange, i am comparing a 14/18 to a stock prop at the SAME rpm.
