Yes was thinking about it too. Have you done it before. June seams to be the best weather for it.

I was trying to go last year and couldnt find anyone. I have a buddy with a boat that also wants to go... Can you make it on a single tank of fuel? I was thinking I would need to take 10 gallons or so on the boat just to be safe in case of rough water and taking extra time. I never figured a MPG on my ski. Clearly wont be crossing at 70+MPH so probably better fuel economy.

I once ran an MPG when I was bone stock. It was all one day, in one run and used 3/4 of a tank. Did brim to brim for calculation. . 1/4 wake zone, 1/2 40mph, 1/4 60mph and averaged 6 MPG - ouch. Don't wanna measure the mpg again, especially when I change the SC wheel!!

Just some info: When I had my 2011 RXT 260, I went from Bullfrog Marina to Dangling Rope Marina at Lake Powell, 60 mile trip one way, and only put in 9 gallons of fuel at Dangling rope. That is a little over a half a tank, so if it is only 50 miles, you should be golden on a tank.

Edit to add: The low fuel alarm started going off quite a ways from Dangling Rope and I was getting worried. That "alarm" alarms WAY TOO early if you ask me. Especially when I only used a little over a half a tank...

I just did a 56mi trip in the ocean this past weekend to see if I could make it on one tank. You need to run around 4k rpm and you'll make it, it's around 30mph on my ski. 2005 rxp basically stock. So you should be able to make it. I had 3 bars remaining after I did the 56mi run
