Wink Over 70 mph on my 250x this morning :)

Third time I've taken it out. I've got the hang of it now - my total hours on jet skis is about 11...

It was choppy this morning, on a full tank, I weigh 105kg, and I broke the 70 mile per hour mark.

Just thought I'd post as I'm beaming ear to ear

235 lb rider plus carrying roughly 120-140 lbs of fuel.....

inquiring minds want to know the modifications

To be honest, I don't know...

I bought it a month ago. From what I can see it has an r&d air filter, Riva intake grate, r&d ride plate, and Soleus impeller. I only know about the impeller as that was noted on the auction when I purchased it.

No idea what else is lurking in there.

mate hate to tell you but you might want to find a more reliable way of tracking speed aside from your phone. 70.7 knots = 81.3 mph. i think you suffered a speed spike in the reading. a lot of well respected and knowledgeable people in this sport have thrown considerably more money and parts at these boats and havent reached those speeds.... a 310R with a bolt on turbo kit and considerably more parts barely gets to 80.

I didn't even notice it was in knots and not mph... I have checked using it in the car in the past that it is accurate, however I'm not too sure how a "speed spike" would occur? I agree that 81.3 is implausible.
