Exclamation Fuel consumtion 32 miles one full tank of gas. Fun on a river

Sept 2014 I took my boy and his friend up the Mighty Mo. We weigh about 440lbs combined, I thought holy snicker doodles that 2011 kawi ultra 300lx was mighty thirsty. And yes of course we played a little but most of the way in eco(bullshit) mode. At mile 30 the low fuel light came on. I think this is way to much what could be wrong? I have pulled plugs and look fine not rich or anything. Thought maybe dirty stuck injector but plugs are fine. My questions are 1: does this seem like alot of fuel usage? 2: ngk plug pmr9b in the machine currently have 2 ground electrodes the ones i have seen at the auto store and stealership have one, where do i find the (correct) plug? 3: would reflash help or hurt the mpg issue? 4: does anyone have a jet pump acctuator for sale?

That seems like too much! Even for constant WOT riding. Let alone cruising on Eco mode.

That's alot of weight to carry and fuel...plus you said a river so I would guess you might have gone against a current also.

What speed were you going?...most skis get best range at 35mph...if cruising at 40-45mph then easy to believe..

Just saw you said the buzzer went off @ 32. That's a little more realistic. You still have 7 gal. left when it goes off. And fighting a current has something to do with it.

even with that weight, it seem quite low mileage, pmr9b are the right plug for the 310,
What do you mean by jet pump actuator?

jet pump acctuator= trim motor assembly. Yes We were going up river 4-7 mph current. We put in at Leavenworth boat ramp and went up to Atchison. Is there anyone in the kc area that would like to ride? I run rivers and lakes in the area. I weigh in at 185lbs the boys both are 85lbs. dont think thats too much weight for a 3 person ski!!!!

I can get about 90-100 miles on a tank with mostly 35-38 mph and ECO + cruise at Lake Powell. Seems to be the sweet spot. One person on each ski 2012 300x and 300 lx. Of course there is still about 1-2 gallons left in the tank as we have never run them dry. Proper trim setting does help.

Well 4-7 mph current is the reason thats a strong current.

Went 50 miles in one direction, filled up at the Marina for the return trip. 310X in ECO mode consumed 10.5 gallons. Water was semi choppy the entire ride. Speeds were 35-38 mph.
