Anyone using this? I saw it on Islandracings web site. I havent heard any talk about it so I thought I would set up a discussion about it.

Don't leave the washer off, you probably will never get the
prop off the shaft again. Set the prop back by letting someone
machine the prop. You will see a gain in hook up and speed.

I am using a 15/22 dynafly setback on the project ski. Still under pitched. Sending back to impros for a repitch to 16/24. It pulls like a frikkin frieght train.

Chris,a set-back is going to give you a slight bit better hole shot and will add to loading the pump which in turn will drop your rpms which you dont need till we get the hull freed up.I have a Nu-jet 21.5 Pro with all the Island mods including setback you could try if I thought it would help, but I'd really like to set your nozzle and test some adjustments.I tested my angle modded stock plate yesterday with no holes filled and 1/2 tank of fuel and hit 71 consistantly on a basically stock 1200 with lots of tuning left.

Nice numbers Steve! Yea I wasn't really thinking about doing the setback. I don't figure the gain would be worth the money.
Things in the works are
Fixing what ever the grimlin is!
