    Unhappy Breaking In Question

    Hey everyone,

New PWC owner here. I have a 2014 Wake Pro 215 that I am currently trying to break in. I have taken it out about 4 times and have 2 hours ride time on it.

From what I remember in my walk throutgh I was told to very the speeds and feather the throttle a lot. I have been trying to do that as often as possible but I have also gone full throttle more than a handful of times for short burst (no longer that 30 seconds).

My question is have I completely screwed myseld and my ski over by doing this? Have I voided the warranty by going full throttle?

i have noticed that the first time I took it out I was able to get it to 65 mph but it only goes up to 62 now.. I'm worried... :/

Relax, you are not screwed and have done exactly what you are supposed to do breaking it in! The ECU limits rpm during the first 10 hours incrementally. It will uncork and really start running good around 6-7 hours of run time. Keep doing what you are doing and run the shit out of it after good warm up and heat / cooling cycles, just don't stay WOT for more than 30 seconds or so.

Is their a limit as to how many times you should do WOT, and should you do WOT after maybe 4 hours, or 30 mins in..
