Riva fpr fitting for rising rate question
I noticed on my fpr the hole where rising rate can be used is open the fitting must have fell out over the years is it ok like this or should I plug it up ?

The kit normally comes with a plug and a small O-ring to plug it up. It wouldn't be a bad idea to use it. Id say yes to keep out any moisture.

Read this thread about running STATIC with Riva RRFPR:
Bottom line, do NOT block off this fitting - it needs to vent to work properly. Install the supplied Vent Stone.

Hm, Thanks for the input. WHY do they supply it with the plug and O-ring?

What you are calling a plug is a vent stone. Look at the picture post #13 in the thread I posted.
