    Solas 15/21?

a 15/21 pitch prop is what was recomended i use from SOLAS and local seadoo dealer. before i put this thing in, a 15/21 will get me off the rev limiter along with gaining a few more mph correct? i realize i will lose a little bit of low end which im hoping the vtech will compensate for. even if its slighly noticeable, i wont complain.

The 15/21 is too steep for me. I struggle to get 8100!!! But I am running Riva springs n retainers which may have cost me 150rpms.

i will go back to oem prop for the start of the season until I get some more stardust.

the oem prop can take you to ~73-74 at 8400 rpm the stock prop is roughly equivalent to a solas 14/18 in terms of rpm up top. So are you all over the limiter? or are you just getting close?

i would use a 15/19 or 15/20 for your application. i measured my stock prop to be a 14/20 in my pitch guage, and that 14/20 stock prop acted exactly like a 14/18 solas i have right now.

    this is so damn confusing...
    riva says its 12/19
    solas says its 15/19
    oem says 14/19

solas also said there is no 15/20 for my ski ,they recomended 15/21

I was at 72/73 gps. Bottom end launch was ferocious. No cavitation, just staight airborne at 45 degrees skyways. Better be ready!

I think a good balance, in my eyes, is 8500/8600 75mph gps. If I can get this with that holeshot, I'll be happy. Maintainence should be low too (lowish!!).
