Slow hole shot
Heres the deal:
I was idleing and hit WOT. The ski launched real hard for about 20-30ft and then it seemed like it lost power for about 1-1.5 seconds and then came back with full power again. The entire time I had it wide open.
RR SC wheel
Riva 3" intake
14/19r prop, no tweaking to it.
Brand new jerrys metal washers

Was it cavitating (pump unhook) or did the engine stumble?

Will it hold sustained RPMs at WOT?

If im not mistaken from what he explained to me is the same thing that me and my cousin went thru which Stickem fixed on one of them being that it was off timing.Any inputs will help.

need more tension on sc clutch or hoses coming loose. Metal washers need readjusting after a couple of hours if you ride it hard.

\ how hard is it to readjust the clutch? Special tools on procedure? This sounds like I will have down time once I get the washers installed.
Does sea-Doo have the clutch adjusting as part of their 10 hr inspection?

Sea Doo doesn't adjust the clutch nor do they have the shim or any proceedure to follow. Us "modders" adjust the clutch by installing a shim in the spring washer stack. A shim is a very thin washer that is .008 thick.
A stack of spring washers looks like this
A stack of spring washers with a shim in it looks like this
Just put the shim between the spring washers and it puts tension on the clutch to prevent slippage.
