U250X replacing trim and rear corners..

    Hey all,
Just wondering have any of you replaced your trim? I've waited as long as I could before it getting too ugly to look at. Here on Long island a lot of the docks are not well taken care of - even though the prices to launch keep increasing. I DO manage to keep my 07 looking as good as I possibly can by watching how I launch but when you have rusty nails, bolts and NO protection on the dock itself there aint much you can do. I used to keep fenders onboard but got to be too much to deal with to stow away. The red and black rail in my case looks Horrible Gauges and scratches.... Starboard corner needs to be replaced too.

I think the Corners are riveted in and the rails slide along a channel along side of the hull.. Is this correct? I remember seeing a ski that had some kind of aftermarket kit installed... looked pretty good too.
    Anyone remember it?

I did say I was going to replace my 7(original) year Battery this season too... Well, after having it test good I decided not to and was going to push my luck just one more season. while farting around in the garage I had to move the trailer to do something- battery fell off of the rear of the ski(where it was sitting) and cracked.

New battery for me... I took it as a sign

Any links or help would be cool... Thanks.

    Dekas are good !!

Yes, the rails slide right in. The hard part is getting the bumpers off and re-riveting them in.

    Hey there,
Thanks for the information... I think that Riva has the kits for the rails... I might have to go to the home boy depot and buy a pop rivet gun and some rivets.
