Thinking about jumping from Yamaha to Seadoo? Should I do it???

I bought an 09 FX Sho as a left over in July of 2010. It has 120 hours on it and I'm looking to change things up a bit. (Especially after going with my buddy to the Sea-Doo dealer to pick up some parts for his spark) I fell in love with a yellow and black RXPX.

Anyone ridden both? I feel like the RXPX is a much better unit, looks are so much better than the new Yamaha's and all of the new features on the Sea-Doo's (neutral, elec trim, etc) look awesome.

Any and all opinions will be appreciated!

Also are there usually any left overs this time of the year for the Doo's? I'm by Chicago. I know I can usually find left over Yamahas up here, haven't looked for RXPX's alot yet.

    Thanks for the help.

The Yamaha dealer here has a couple of old Polaris skis that they park out front of the dealership to draw people in, then they try to push the Yamaha skis on them.

Doo it!! So far the RXP-X has been the most fun ski I have owned. What type of riding do you do? What are you looking to get out of it?

FYI...2013 was the last year they made the yellow RXPX. Might be hard to find a brand new one...I'm sure they could still be out there though.

imo the rxpx is the best well rounded boat out there, easy to maneuver at a dock, takes chop like a champ, can run its ass off with some mods, looks the best, and handles like its on rails.

But Yamaha has RiDE now which rivals iBR. Has electric trim now, too. Alas, SeaDoo is still the beauty champ.

I do mostly river riding at home, but also take two trips to Lake of The Ozarks in the summer and early fall, pretty rough water.

The SeaDoo is 2k more expensive that the Yamaha. Not a huge fan of the red in the 2015 FZR. The RXPX seems to have a lot more bells and whistles than the Yamaha. I feel like if the Seadoo was the same price as the FZR it would be a no brainer.

I assume they are both the same as far as reliabilty goes. My SHO is 100% stock and I doubt I will be doing anything to the new one, I have a race car for that. I have had 0 issues with the Yamaha, so that steers me back to the Yamaha as far as I know first hand how reliable it is.

    Thanks again guys.
