    FX Cruiser HO Tubby Pods

We are looking at doing some longer trips with the need to carry camping gear and extra fuel and these things look like the best solution. Does anyone have these fitted or have had experience with a similar product?

Wow - Swore I'd never use the ski for fishing, but those are a sweet setup! Could even use for some overnight camping action..

I'd be interested in how well they are secured to the ski & ease of removal. And most important - How much $$ shipped to the US??

The pods retail here in Oz for $3000.00 plus a further $500.00 to fit (EEK!) If you click on the link under image it will take you to the Oz importers site, there's some good pics and videos on there, one showing how they clip on and off. The pods are made in South Africa by a company called 'Raceline' I'm sure. They may have a distributor in the States?

They are definitely a slick setup - But just a lil above my pay grade.(at least for the minimal time I'd ever be using em) I'm sure there are plenty of guys that are really looking for a "fishing ski", that these will be ideal for!
