I'm trying to install WORX Sponsons for the GTR. I don't see how these could possibly be installed using the hardware they've supplied which includes two sizes of bolts and two sizes of washers. There's nothing on the backing plates for either size bolt to thread into and there are no included nuts. Even if this Sponson set included nuts, there wouldn't be any way to hold them from spinning when bolting the Sponsons onto the backing plate. Either I'm missing something really obvious with these, or they're sold with the assumption that people will come up with a solution on their own.

I think you need these. They're called claw nuts. Had them on a set of Beach house sponsons. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MJU7KSY/...SIN=B00MJU7KSY

Pull the old stock ones off and install backing plates first; It they do not have supplied bolts use the stock ones. Then hopefully they sent you bolts to attach there sponsons to the backing plate. The backing plate is attached like the old stock sponson was. Then ofcoarse the WORX sponson attaches to the new backing plate.

WELL this is how it should be done.

I had the same issue with mine. No nuts to screw blades to. Gave them a call and received the next day. Great sponsons......
