Dielectric Grease vs Dow Corning 111

I could be wrong (ask my wife), but is Dow Corning 111 a dielectric grease. If no,t what is a suitable alternative?

As far as I know (and have used it as such).

what brand do you use, if you don't mind me asking?

This is what I bought yesterday as I also came to the conclusion it was a dielectric grease....

My general stuff is in unbranded tins from Ebay! Plus I have Dow Corning 111 for critical areas, just in case.

Be careful that you don't use too much, especially in connectors. It can cause a hydro lock type situation and damage the connectors when you push them together especially the seals.
