Exclamation Tech tip for anyone removing there supercharged ski from winter storage!

If your ski has been in storage all winter befor you start it for the first time remove the small oil priming screw on the supercharger and squirt some oit in to this priming hole to lube the supercharger bearings prior to starting you ski up the first time. This ensures you do not start the ski with dry supercharger bearings. Tommy Jordan

Like Tommy say: This ensures you do not start the ski with dry supercharger bearings.

Easy its saving your stuff and if it has stay for a long time little lubrication so its spin freely is not bad.

    Thanks

After my ski has been sitting for any period of time - I have gotten in the habit of holding the throttle wide open (to prevent starting)) & turning er over for a few seconds (2 or 3 times).

Been doing this with the hope of possibly getting some slight oil pressure to help lube the cylinder walls, valve train & sc bearings etc.., before having a "Dry" start up. Is this practice a waste of time, or could it still be an adjunct to manually lubing the sc through the port?

If you look on page 5-35 of your manual you'll see the same pic and procedure. This is recommended after a supercharger reinstall.
