    V TECHTUNNED Version 2.0.44

Does somebody know why all the new maps have less timing and more fuel? And why all the agressive old maps are not existing any more?Waiting for opinions and issues.

they realized that they had very little info listed for the race tunes
some of the race tunes were listed as aggressive
so now to get a race tune you must request them to unlock them

more fuel and less timing is much safer for rec riders with crappy fuel

38* is way too high for pump fuel

Just got an e-mail from V-Tech yesterday, showing the server changes and the latest version. I obviously have to download and install the new program to my desktop. However, does the machine have to be here with the battery installed? (both Doo's still in storage) Do I have to essentially start from scratch and do a complete re-flash with the new program and the hand held Maptuner?

you don't have to flash the ecu's unless you want to
the program update uses a new server so the old program will not work
and there is now two programs maptuner and mapeditor

the new 2.0.44 is just a server - client software.
We added new features, faster server and more stuff that we will present shortly
And Kawasaki & Yamaha reflash via mapedit via maptuner.

I'll take that as a "yes". It appears that everything needs to be completely redone. Tried my originally downloaded program and it doesn't work, just like you said. I have several tunes stored in my Maptuner now, but they are about a year old. MY (stock) 2011 RXT has the 8375-202 tune currently, which I'm happy with. Is there anything better, or "cleaner" of a base tune since I've last messed with this?

I just hope there are no time limitations with the upgrade. I'll be DOO'ing this in about a month when everything comes out of storage.
