    2000 gtx di

Hi, I have a question for those of you that might know. I am going to look at a 2000 GTX DI on Friday. I spoke with the owner who states there is 88 hours on the motor. He is selling it because of health reasons. It has been stored indoors and has been professionally maintained. He told me the only issue he has ever had is sometimes the fuel gauge acts up. The mechanic who services the ski told the owner that it is more than likely the magnets in the sensor. How much of a pain and how much money am I looking at to fix this? He said the ski itself is in mint condition. I am going to do a pressure check once the ski comes out of storage. But I also don't mess around when it comes to fuel and batteries. Thanks in advance for your help.

Do a search, it's not bad at all to fix the guage, either floats have a hole or the fuse in the actual fuel level sensor

I didnt think so either. I used to own a 96 GTX and i also had a gtx 4tec. Didnt feel like dealing with the supercharged models. Just want a nice ski to ride around on the lake.
