    Skat 13/18 3 Blade V Stock 4 Blade

So I need to replace my stock prop. One too many repairs. People tell me that a 3 blade is the way to go. Better holeshot and mid range acceleration. Ski is used for stock class racing and general rec riding so I'm not after a top speed prop. Boat is a Rxp260x with no modifications so far. We have limited changes allowed for stock class in our country and so far I have run the boat completely stock. The Skat 3 blade I have needs to have 2.5mm taken off the boss to set it back the right amount, then its all good. Of course it may need a bit of tuning on the trailing edge. Who's running a 3 blade in place of the Oem 4 blade?

I have a 14/18 coming for my RXTX AS 260. They most be very popular or not very popular, it's been 3 weeks....but I see it finally shipped Friday. Hopefully I don't have to mess with the set back.

I've got a 14/18 also. It's set back a bit more than the 13/18. I want to try the 13/18 first beacause I don't have any more HP available than stock.

    Stupid question incoming...
When you guys talk about set back in the prop, what are you talking about? Does it relate to the set back mod, Speed Freeks Racing, and what is the "mod" exactly?
I know, I know, no stupid questions... thanks guys.

the new skis have a factory set back using the CRX props
the crx has a different hub with about 1/8" cup cut out of the prop hub

A 13/18 3 blade is a stock replacement for the 215 rxp. You're gong to end up around 13/20 or 14/19 i'll bet. I ran the 3 blade in all my ski's with many many different setups and LOVED it! 1-2 mph slower on top end but you got to top speed quicker than the 4 blade.

I have already added quite a lot of pitch to the trailing edge. Standard it was turned up, it's now parallel with the table. Same as a srock prop. Hopefully I won't need to muck around with it too much. If it pulls down speed or rpm too much, I'm hoping the ECU will compensate by opening the TB more and allowing more revs to bring the speed back up. With the stock limiters I still run I'm still only going to see 69mph max speed anyway.
