    slt 750 hydrolocked?

Today while out riding the ski it started to lose power then eventually died. Once it was dead I couldn't get it to start again. The starter just makes one "click" and that's it. Starter wasn't weak, and is farely new. The cover to the carbs did pop off right before this happened, and after pulling my plugs I noticed there was a bit of water in the PTO cylinder. Looking down the PTO carb and it has water sitting in it as well. I've sucked water in this engine before and pumped it out with the starter...but now starter won't kick it over. Any suggestions on what to do next?

That's correct. I only get one "click" and that's it.

Can you grab the coupler and spin the motor by hand? You may have a bad start solenoid.

If the jet pump is binding then the engine will not be able to crank properly.

I couldn't spin the coupler by hand, so it looks like it is binded. After pulling it then what do I do?

Try to spin the motor with the pump removed. If the motor spins free then your issue is the pump. I would plan on new bearings and seals in the pump as well as rebuilding the through hull seal.

The pump is easy enough to pull off to eliminate that as an issue, But I wouldn't wait around if there is water in the intake - that needs to come out now before the crankshaft rusts.
