    Changing spark plugs

How exactly do you change the spark plugs? Is it just to remove the top deck and then remove the plugs? Or do you need to spray into the cylinders and coils with xps lube?

I will add, I am not sure if you need to remove the top electrode/tip/top of the plug like you do for the other 4tec models or not. I will be changine them next week and I didn't look that closley when I winterized it as I was messing with multiple skis that day.

Ok, thanks! Also, most people here on the forums says to hand tighten the plugs and then an additional 1/4 turn. Manual gives you a specific torque, wich to follow?? Read somewhere that the hand tightening with the 1/4 turn, is what you do when you dont have access to a torque wrench to get about the same torque.

    Changing spark plugs

what is the difference between the regular spark plugs and the iridium plugs? Acceleration, top speed and fuel economy, will any of that change in a positive way?
