Oil in IC, Have any input?

    Hi All,
Last weekend I went out and checked oil the night before riding it was missing a little so I put what was missing, low and behold I forgot to put the oil cap back on and I rode like 4 hours like that, looks like it lost about 1qt, so I went to clean the mess today and while taking off the hoses for the IC I see oil in it, WTF!! see images any idea what this could be? ski has warranty but I didn't feel/see any symptoms maybe RPM topping at 7900 but it was hot as hell, thoughts?

Yanks, you did not post what year ski, so I guessed at a 2014. Hose #30 takes crank case vapors and pumps it into the SC intake, which creates one hell of a mess like you have.

This is why we use a catch can, to keep that shit out of our IC's!! http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...oducts_id=2887

Mine is a 2012, but I believe that hose is there, ill check in the AM but I am pretty sure is there, so this might be the reason for this?

Guarantee it. Since you said the SC was rebuilt, the front seal should have been replaced.

Like I said, a catch can is your solution.

Either plug it up or better yet, install a 4" air kit with the catch can and get better performance.

This has proven time and time again to be the #1 best performance mod you can do these ski's. The stock air intake is grossly restrictive. You will see MUCH better throttle response and acceleration.

You might want to read the sticky thread above about modifying 255/260 HP ski's.
