    Are MSX/Weber engine case parts interchangeable?

    Cylinder head/top case/bottom case/etc. (For future reference).

    It is not recomended to swap lower and upper case half's but otherwise yes. If you want to use non matching case half they need to be line bored.

    Agreed (w/ hill)... upper (cylinders) and lower case halves are line bored from the factory. So mixing and matching is not a good idea unless you plan to have them line bored again... or precisely measured somehow to verify.

    All other parts (head, sump pan, cradles, etc.) are interchangeable from engine to engine. That said, when putting in a new crank that didn't come in your cases... you really need to plasti-gauge the main bearings to ensure you have the proper clearances.
