    what can my motor handle

I know this probably has been talked about but every ski and mods list is different I am new to modifying my ski and want to make sure it can handle what I wanna throw at it without any major changes

I have a 2007 RXP stock motor and ecu I am wondering if I can get an external intercooler mods are as listed

    Solas 14/19R
    riva front power filter kit
    2 degree pump wedge
    riva intake grate
    Riva gen2 charger impeller wheel
I believe my rpms are around 8100

mods on the way to the house
Riva waterbox with thru hull exit

I want to get the riva external cooler kit and a HKS BOV.

can my stock motor handle everything or do I have to get valve springs and or a ecu?

the stock motor can take quite a bit of mods if you keep the stock revs. those mods are easily handled.

thank you but adding the cooler will raise the rpms? or will the stock ecu limit them at 8100?

True....But I'm thinking with an Upgrade in external IC along with the GenII wheel, a Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Reg might be a go. All very well to keep the revs down (if you can with the 14/19) but it might be starting get a bit on the lean side. Just thinking out loud. Are you monitoring your AFR?

You need to keep your Revs under the rev limit. You can not rely on the ECU to do it. Thats not its job. You need to have your max rpm 50-100rpm under the factory rev limit. You do this by tuning the prop or getting a taller one.

I am not currently I can get a gauge if needed and the rrfpr is another mod that I do want and the 14/19r is just part of the stage 1 if its better to go to the 15/20r I wouldn't be opposed to that

With the factory ECU, you need to aim for a prop speed of between 8000rpm and 8150rpm depending on weather.

I always try to start with a pitch that puts me under my desired rpm. Then you know your ECU is having no effect in limiting it and you can work up to the ideal rpm with re-pitching of the prop.
