I don't think it would be a problem, but I am sure people that know for sure will chime in.

Long block is identical, will fit with no issues. Not 100% sure if the electronics are perfectly interchangeable between 2007 & 2010 though ...

    Thanks Vern!

I'm more or less wondering if the PTO Housing, Trigger Wheel, Head, and Flywheel are the same? The block looks the same, even though Seadoo has different part numbers for the block for the different years??? <<< that's what's throwing me off... I'm not concerned about the electrics, fueling the or intake etc...

Anybody know the difference between the PTO housings of pre-2009 and post-2009 4tec platforms??? Are they interchangeable?

    Thanks,

2006+ are the same with the crank trigger external aprox 7:00 . 2006- the crank trigger is internal and in a different location aprox 12:00.

The 2009+ PTO's have a slightly tilted oil filer housing to accommodate the electronic throttle body and some extra bracket bolt holes for air intake bracket.
