Thumbs up "Yamaha FZR/FZS is only a flat water ski..."

Just browsing around the interwebs and found some things that say maybe the FZR/FZS can hang in the chop...

And the video where these images came from...this looks like it was an awesome race.

They can hang obviously. Just from looking at a RXP (t3 hull) on a trailer side by side to a FZ you can tell the deep V design on RXP knifes through chop better. I have had quite a bit of seat time on a 2015 FZ and 14 FX SVHO and the RXP is just a lot smoother over light chop. Both Yammi running R&D grates and Jim's cut. Have you ever ridden a T3 RXP? Doesn't make the Yammi a "glass water only ski" by any means. I enjoy riding any ski I'm not biased to Seadoo. The big 3 out today having some fun. Click image for larger version.

I haven't ridden another ski other than Yamaha...My point in posting this was to counter what a lot of the Kawi nutswingers have been saying lately...I know comfort-wise the Doo's and Kawi's are better on chop but that doesn't mean in a competitive setting that well-ridden Yami's can't hang with or beat the others. From what I've seen with Dean's Team competing right now it's true the Yamaha's can more than "hang" with the others.

those of us that have fast yamies in rough water just show the kawis on the water
and leave the keyboard stuff for the kawi riders
    it makes them feel good
last 300 rider that I beat in rough water , after recovering from shock
he told me mine was a race ski so didn't count
lucky his mates weren't there to see it

See, that's not so hard to admit. No idea why guys get so worked up with brand loyalty in ski land.

And there's nothing wrong with the fact that the Yam get's a quicker flat water speed to show for it's hull. The Kaw and Doo suffer a little in the flat because of their rough water deeper v prowess.
