Starting my GPRXP conversion
Hello everyone. After reading, researching, and looking up cost, I decided to finally build a GPRXP. I just picked up a seadoo rxp with 150 hours with a locked motor for $500. Pretty sweat deal. I took the motor apart and replaced the piston and bent rod it had. Currently, I am putting the engine back together to continue the swap.
Things I have not found on this forum is how people modify the coolant system. What I mean is the anti freeze lines that go through the hull on the rxp. I belive that a U shape coolant line will work the same but I rather hear from someone that has done the before.
Another question would be, where would I get my gprxp motor mounts and shaft? They were on ebay but now there not.
I will post up picks on my conversion when I finish putting my motor together and ready to start stripping the hull.

With yr coolant question you need a heat exchanger.... Plenty of info on this site.... Good luck with yr build...

I PM addicted and he gave me a great price for mounts and shaft. He just told me to send him my mid shaft as a core and ship it to him. I currently have my 1300 motor in the ski and have to take it out before sending it to him.
I got alot of work done today though. I put my rxp 215 block back together but noticed that I get compression on cylinders 2 and 3 at 115 and cylinder 1 at 90. Thinking about replacing all the rings but I want to be sure. Little frustrating I can say. Haha
Also, what would be the best heat exchanger for this project? Ive been looking on the forums and saw people using x ic's with air opening on each side.

Well here we go. Finally sold my 1300 engine and cleaned out the hull a bit. I will be putting in some work today to get this baby ready. Looking to put in the dash, electronics, gas tank, and start cutting the hull. I will post pics as I go and any experience info will be appreciated.
