    2000 GTX Millenium Starting issue

Hello, I just purchased a 2000 GTX ski. It has 89 hours on the motor and was winterized and stored indoors over the winter. Ran a compression test and each was right at 135 PSI. I put a new battery in it today and went to start it and it just cranks and wont fire. Pulled the plugs and they were wet. Going to call the mechanic who did all the work on it tomorrow to see if there is some magical remedy or what could be causing this. Anyone else ever have this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try some new plugs, somebody may have gone a little overboard with the fogging oil.

Avoid magic remedies, Valkrie will tell you them come with a high price.

so with new battery, good compression fuel and spark you should be off to have fun.

Drop some fuel into the jugs with an eyedropper, put both lugs in, full choke, make sure the fuel is on and crank the engine.

    report back with results.

this all assumes a carb model, and not an rfi/di

Yeah I am thinking thats what they did. I bought new plugs. Might have to put a few drops of fuel in there to get it started so i can get that crap out of there. How much gas do you put in there?

The ethyl ether compounds in starting fluid are not kind to the longevity of your 2 stroke engine, think oil film being stripped away from your piston skirts in the same instant the engine starts and makes 2500 rpm's.

    grrrr. NO STARTING FLUID EVER!

be prepared for some crap to come flying out of the exhaust when it fires, It can stain concrete forever.

    CAREFUL WITH GAS ALWAYS

a little often goes too far.even less is often better-er
