FZR... WOT to off-throttle problem. engine dead for a second. WHY? + VIDEO
please help me...
My engine runs good with R3, stock intercooler and ET15.5
8100 rpm 14psi 124kmh and no issue
now I upgreded from stock intercooler to Type 14 IC and I gained 400 rpm... but...
when I relese throttle from WOT, engine stops and died for a half a second and suddently continue running normal.
Is the same sensation someone pull lanyard... tach goes from +8000 to zero and immediately come back to normal.
never had this issue with old intercooler.
I tried to change bov, now bov is the same of older intercooler, a genuine HKS bov.
difference from previous and good working setup:
new intercooler. 2 more psi 400 more rpm
same ecu same bov same wheel
here a video.
hope it can help to understand problem:

I'm told it's normal for the rpm to drop a lot after a wide open run...Not to zero but way below normal idle and then they come right back up....Mine drops a lot after wide open and I asked Dean who tunes my ski and he said it was normal.

man... I really don't like this new way to run of my ski...
some one who know english better than me wrote this...
When im at WOT and let off just a little, it seems to stall for a second. It's like letting go of the throttle completely and is a little scary. I'm afraid I'll end up flying over the handlebars. Doesn't matter how slow and easy I let off, it still does it.

I think it has to do with built up boost backing up to the throttle body and possibly pushing it closed for a split second when you let off but just a hunch...

think same but BOV...? isn't it there for prevent this issue?

I don't know.
HKS have not interchangeable springs.
maybe I need a TIAL?

I've heard good things about the tial. If you use the light spring it works very well on our motors from what they say...

try letting off the throttle a little slower and see if that helps instead of just dropping the throttle closed all at once! Tommy Jordan

it happen also letting off throttle slowly.
it happen when bov discharge air.
If I release trhottle so slowly that bov not open... there is no issue.
what you think?
