Fuel figures. Please post your ski with mods and your fuel burn.

I see a lot of threads about fuel burns in the manufacturer spacific forums. I would like to see just how my 65mph 2004 polaris msx stacks up.

2004 msx 150. Internal upgrades with a stage one ecu rip, 850cc big bore, oversized turbo compression side. Ski weighs over 900lbs with me fuel and gear.
Used just under a half tank and riding over 50mph with about 3-5miles being wot. A full tank holds 18 gallons. It held 8.1 at fill up. 8.1 devided by 55 is 6+ mpg.

now you know why I built this ski I tell people I have close to a 120-150 mile range if I am careful. They think I am full of crap.

It's a shitty shot but zoom on it and it clears up. My GPS tracking program said I did 57 miles but either way.....

The one time I really checked my MSX 140 did 6 MPG and my carbed X45 did 5 MPG. The MSX 140 is really good on fuel for a bigger boat. I love that thing. Still faster than the new NA 4 strokes except for the STX 15F and the VXR. It will mop up a Sea Doo 130 or 155 and the Yamaha VX's

Me and the wife riding my 310 at an average of 35 mph with the ECO active was able to get 66 miles on 13 gallons of gas... so 5 mpg.

Thanks! These are some good numbers. Seems like its more about how fast you drive than displacement. Same as with a bigger boat.

'12 GTR - stone stock engine.

    fuel burn:
    -sport mode: 15.3g in 45m = 3m/g (@ MAX throttle, duh)
    -eco mode: 3.5-4.0 g/hr...About the same as wifes 2K6 GTIse 130 n/a;
I have trouble staying in it long enough to gather real data.
-touring mode: this is only used because the ski starts in this mode...

    so....

    fuel cap.: 16g

    ski does:
    -sport: 67 @ WOT
    -eco: 48(+/-) @ WOT (BOOOORING!)

    range:
    -sport: +/- 55miles
    -eco: +/- 160miles

Yes, exactly. On the SHO platform the key to good fuel mileage is staying out of boost.
