    Blow OFF Valve Question

    What do I need to add a BOV? Do i need aluminum piping? Sorry I am still learning about the ski

    IF your planning on running it on a SCed ski..I wouldnt even worry about the BOV..it is better to run without one than it is with one on the SCer skis..

    you need a turbo for one....lol
    if the SC1500 needed a BOV brp would have put one on it at the factory
    yes, it will work and some say it will help
    I also though it would help with boost spikes
    but they really dont spike that high
    others say it is harder on the SC with the BOV
    I can say that it is one more place for a boost leak
    inside the hull of a pwc in not a nice place for aluminum parts

    so all that stuff on Riva page about the BOV helps the clutches is not true?

    I am not convinced one way or the other. I plan to do some testing this summer. I am convinced the raw aluminum and salt water is a bad combination.

    well salt water is bad on any metal, I guess thats why its important to flush after use
