FZR Cavitation Issue
My FZR has considerable Cavitation. I have to feather the throttle to accellerate rapidly in any water conditions.
After reading all available threads on GH for Cavitation and not getting any solid answers that would assist me I am asking for help.
I only have (1) spacer in my Lucky Cone but installed the other (2) today for a try... but I somehow doubt it will get rid of all the cavitation issues..
Ive read Threads where people with the same set up as mine put the anti Cav Cone in and supposedly got rid of their Cavitation issues but I don't see how..
Anyones help is greatly appreciated..

I had the same issues with a sho, I would fit a skat prop. I pretty much eliminated cavitation with the tbm on a stock pump but your lucky 13 cone will not fit the tbm set up. start with a skat 13/23 prop with that set up then tune your lucky 13 cone.

Thank you for reply.. I have a Skat 13/24 on it now.. Not sure why I haven't added it to my Signature..
I will try the other (2) spacers I left off the Lucky 13 Cone and let you know..

L13 cone didn't do shit for my cavitation issues. I just ordered a 160 setup

Would you do me a favor and let me know what the results are..

The L13 cone, 160 liner, 13/20 solas prop and the Riva 160mm pump was how I finally eliminated the cavitation with the H1. You might be able to get by with just the 160 liner, depitched solas prop and L13 cone running the C3.

True the Lucky 13 cone will not solve your cavitation. Many of us have tested it for that purpose. You will either need to repitch your prop to say a 16/24 or get a 155mm twin prop pitched to your mods or go with a 160mm liner & 160mm impeller pitched to your mods which would be around a 13/17 or 13/18

Great to hear!... Then it should definately fix my issue... Will try the liner and inquire about depitching my prop...

^ You have a 155mm prop. If you go with a 160mm liner, you need a new 160mm prop.
