Looking for input on the solas twin prop

I was wondering if anyone has tried a solas twin prop on a 2010 rxpx? My only mods are a les cooke cool air kit, tune and an intake grate. Any input would be great. Ie, acceleration, top speed or general performance. Thanks Guys

I believe the twin props are for the fly board crowd or the highly modded skis. Most of us with the bolt on performance parts don't need that kind of prop.

I have a twin prop on my FZS and its pretty much stock. I love it. It's great out of the hole and I gained a little (3mph's) on the top end.

    Zero cavitation issues.

Several of us have tried skat dual props and for the most part gave up trying to get the pitch correct for the mods we were running . If a large number of people were running duals it would probably be easier to choose the right pitch combination but my experience and a few others found it was a lot of guess work. Skat has several different pitch and diameter top props . And getting the right combination required a lot of testing and shipping props back and forth to California .

That all being said , skat will work with you on getting it right . It is going to take some time though. In the end it would probably be worth ur trouble .
I gave up because I wanted to ride more.

I think much of what Evan said rings true. It seems as though the guys who have the dual props running at peak efficiency are the ones who are good at pitching props, or who are having their skis worked on by those guys. Some guys that come to mind are Duke @ DCC, Erik @ Speedfreeks, Rich @ WFO, Dean @ Dean's Team, Jim @ Jim's Performance.

It got to a point with me where I was burnt out tweaking my ski and I realized it was going to take 4-5 more shipments back and forth to skat to get what I was after so that was enough to for me. Most of the big names at the drags are running duals , and obviously kicking ass. Good luck getting any prop info from those guys though
