    Found a piece in the motor compartment

    I think it is not realy important, but I want to know what it is.
    I cannot remove with my finders, it is fixed with glue I guess.

    huh....that's strange. I'll have to see if my AS260 has that.

    Check out that dust line from you carbon seal. I know they do dust, you might want to inspect your carbon ring make sure it looks like it's wearing evenly over time. Do you get water in your ski from just normal riding around? My AS260 stays super dry inside compared to what I'm used to in my other ski's. I just upgraded my TX260 with the redesigned larger stainless ring, that seems to have helped allot.

    No on mine!

    Looks like a production protection pad which has been left behind. Only to protect the hull from the motor when dropping in??

    Certainly not a vital or normal part. You could take it away and enjoy the extra weight reduction

    It's probably covering up a hole they accidently drilled through the bottom of his ski, I'd leave it.

    @DinoMite:
    Yes my ski is also very dry inside after riding.
    After 2hours river riding very choppy - at the slip slope when I open the plug drain, it comes out a shot glas of water - not more.

    @Tornado:
    Yes I guess it is a alignmet for the engine mount or my other guess
    it is a fence for a small mirror to look at the carbon seal?

    @DinoMite:
    my buddy say same

    That is the front bolt for the intake grate and is simply the sealant under the white pad. They probably use them to keep the sealant from getting all over stuff as they assemble the ski.

    Carbon ring dust - clean it up and keep an eye on this! Either you are running on the hose too long and or the engine is out of alignment with the pump and or through hull fitting. VERY common BTW.
