    Water shut of valve ideas?

I want to fit a shut of valve in my intake line. If ever I have to be towed with no engine I can easily turn of the incoming water supply. Honda FX12 and Yammie VX deluxe. Any idea what size the pipe is and the best valve to get so it will not move and close the water line by itself when bouncing around. Look forward to your answers, thanks.

I carry a small pair of vise grip locking pliers. They are good for other things as well as pinching off the water hose if you ever need to.

Not sure on your size. I use the Shark valve from Home Depot.

Here is mine on a 2010 Seadoo RXT-X. I highly recommend you use a brass shutoff valve as the PVC one I previously had became brittle over the years and broke when I needed it most. The fittings are 3/4" and are Schedule 80 and all came from Home Depot. Just put it where you can access it quick and easy. The clamps would work also, but storing it and finding it could be a problem. This is cheap, easy, and only requires you to rotate a valve 90 degrees. BTW, always carry a strong tow rope.
